RIBEIRO: LEONARDO INFLUENCED LUCAS TRANSFER
The Agent of Brazilian Lucas Moura, Wagner Ribeiro admitted that the relationship between leonardo with both parties(Sao Paulo and his client) was vital in the transfer.
It has been widely tipped that Lucas Moura would sign for Manchester United until the free spending french outfit showed interest and Rebeiro stated that had they not come in, his client would be heading to Premier League outfit.
"Everything was agreed between Sao Paulo and Manchester United."
"The contract had been written (and) just needed to be signed. But then Leonardo called me and asked to talk to Lucas."
Lucas who has signed a four-year deal believed to be in the fee of 45 million euros will join the ligue 1 side in January following the non-availability of quota for an extra non-EU player. PSG had registered 5 players in that category(Alex, Thiago Siva, Maxwell, Bisevac and Tiene) and will have to sell one of them to register lucas.
Lucas 19, has made 59 appearances so far for Sao Paulo since making his debut in 2010 and 15 appearances for Brazil.
